The Word for Success

God has a plan for your maximum success!

We have been given a book that will lead us to success.  Although many books have been written to tell us how to live to the fullness of life, there is one that stands out above all others.

The Word of God tells us that there is a heavenly-powered light that will lead us during the darkest times.  This light is so powerful that it will also lead us during the brightest times.  Psalm 119:105 tells us that the Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.  No matter what the situation or opportunity may be the Word hidden in our heart will illuminate our path, showing us the best way to go.

We have all been in a situation where the darkness seems to be overwhelming and we can’t quite see our way along the path, when all you have to do to relieve the pressure is turn on a light and all the concern is relieved by the ability to see where we are going.  This is what God has designed His Word to accomplish in our lives. This great light will come from the depth of the Word in our heart and shine on our path, thus removing doubt and insecurity because of the light.

We need to keep our batteries charged to allow our light to be bright, thus illuminating the path before us. If we want to keep our natural batteries charged, we need to keep them connected to the power source.  Without being plugged in regularly, our natural light will become dim.

Without being connected to the Word of God our spiritual light will become dim, our vision blinded and our way misguided.  Psalm 1:2-3 tells us that we need to delight ourselves in God’s Word.  When you delight in something you want to stay connected to it so you invest time into the Word when you delight in the Word.  When you are connected you meditate and think on the Word day and night.  You just don’t get it out of your mind, nor do you want to.  The more we think on something the more it becomes a part of us.  This works for the good and the bad.  We make the choice as to which one we think on.  We need to make sure we concentrate on the good and not falling into the trap of thinking on the wrong things.

Our success is guaranteed to happen and our “leaf shall not wither and whatever we do shall prosper”, as we meditate on those things that are true, just, holy, pure, basically thinking on the word of God.

God designed us to meditate on His Word to bring us good success.  When we dedicate ourselves to the Word, it is sure to come out of our mouth.  The words of Jesus tell us that out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.  If the Word is in our heart, the Word will come out.  When you want to know what is in your heart, listen to what you say when you are under times of great pressure. This is the truth of the heart speaking.

The Word of God has been given to us to store in our heart, to speak out of our mouth and to bring us to a place of good success.
