Celebrate the Day

God cares about your birthday! 7 keys to celebrating your special day!

by Bill Krause

I am a person who enjoys birthdays.  I see birthdays as the day that God knew you would be born since the beginning of time.  God loves you, cares about you and waited patiently for you to be born.

Now that the day of your birth has come, He wants to see you celebrate your birthday.  The day you were born, out of any other day of the year, is the most important day of the year.  Of the 365 days of the year that one day was the beginning of your destiny.  The journey began on that special day of the special month of that special year.  Your day, no matter how many people were born on the same day, is still your day.

Your day to rejoice in the gift you are to the world; your day to celebrate your life.  To reflect on what has happened in and through your life.  To think about people you have touched, those who are different as a result of your life.  Each one of us has an impact on the everyday world we live in.  We have made a difference; we have altered the course of human events.  The world would not be the same without you.  Know that you are important, that you count, that life would not be the same without you.

Let your birthday remind you of the continuance of life; that there
is a past and that past contributes to others’ tomorrows.
Because you were born, you brought about cause and effect on their
lives. People will live different lives that have been molded and
changed for the better.

Use your birthday as a time to look forward to your future.  To dream and set goals how you are going to impact the world.  You have the power to change lives, to make the world a better place.

Celebrate the day you were born.  The day that the world was forever changed as a result of your birth.  Allow friends and family to celebrate.  Please don’t shun the joy of allowing us to celebrate with you.  We know how important you are and how you have touched our lives.  We are grateful for the gift of you.

Birthday Celebration Thoughts

1.  Realize you are important to the life of others.

2.  Rejoice personally over your birth, know you have made a difference

3.  Allow others to celebrate your importance and the impact you have made on them.

4.  Look over your positive past.  See your impact, know that you have made a difference in the world at large.

5.  Look to your future; get the vision of how you’re going to make the world a better place to live over the next year.

6.  Be willing to celebrate for more than one day.

7.  Promote celebrating birthdays by joining in and celebrating other peoples’ birthdays.  Each life is important and worth the investment of the celebration.
