Ive now been to three Financial Freedom Seminars, and each one has had a totally different meaning for me. The first one opened my eyes to Gods grace, His many blessings, and the meaning of tithing.
The Sunday following that first seminar I wrote my first tithe check at church, and it felt so good and freeing to trust God and know that He had my back. Four weeks after tithing and feeling good about it, I got news that my eleven-year-old daughter wanted to move home and live with me. This was a milestone, since she lived in Florida and I only saw her twice in eight months. I could not believe this was happening; this was truly a gift from God. Not only did I get my baby back home, but I also did not have to pay support any longer. Following her move back home, even after tithing, I was ahead one hundred dollars each month.
Pastor Krause is an amazing speaker and had me captivated the whole seminar. He had so many good nuggets to hold onto and take home. I was very impressed. Im typically not a note taker, but after the series was over I had seventeen pages of notes and some great biblical passages as well.
The second seminar opened my eyes to respecting my parents and how God does want us to honor our parents. Ive always loved my mom and dad, but never told them that I loved them, so upon hearing Pastors teaching, I decided to tell my mom that I love her. Wow, was it hard to do. However, after a few times she began reciprocating with those words as well. Now our relationship is growing and flourishing more than ever.
Now at the third seminar, I noticed a few different things. For me, it wasnt a financial seminar so much, but an enlightening of how I need to be fixed on the inside before reaping the benefits on the outside. I had been working on my self-esteem and other aspects of my life before this seminar, but hearing those words from Pastor Krause really hit home. It made me realize that I was on the right track and moving forward.
My daughter is still living with me full time, and God has put so many wonderful people in my life to help us; its been miraculous. Ive been praying for revelation and wisdom from God on raising my daughter and for other areas in my life, and God is revealing so much to me. Im so blessed.
I thank Pastor Krause for his time and love. I also thank Jim for discipling me along the way. Without these two great men in my life I would not be where I am today.
