First let me share a testimony. After making the commitment to give $100,000 in the next year, I have thanked God on a daily basis for the income. As I was leaving Sacramento aboard a Southwest flight, I engaged in a conversation with a man on his way to Orange County, the Lord convicted his heart during our conversation, he gave his life to Christ, I gave him my business card and he mailed me an offering of $500 last week. On the same flight now headed from Orange County to Phoenix, AZ, a young man sits next to me on the plane, we engage in some small talk (football) initially, and then I ask him what he does, he is a corporate financial investor. We talk about the things of God and I share the vision of our church with him. He is moved by the spirit and ask me to contact him the next week. I take his business card and I contact him the following Monday His company has now pledged $25,000 to help in the community programs that we do here at the church. Finally, on my final leg of the flight (Phoenix to Baltimore) I encounter a lady who is in big time need of JESUS, her life is a mess. The Holy Ghost allows me to preach to her all the way --- she too gives her life to Christ. Yesterday, a check in the mail from her for $5,000 GOD IS GREAT AND GREATLY TO BE PRAISED.
