My husband and I moved to Nebraska from Texas. At the time, I took an $800 a month pay cut and heard that raises at my new job were small and difficult to receive. It could have been discouraging.
While my husband had heard about honoring the man of God at our church in Texas, we didnt fully apply it to our lives. We would do it off and on. When we came to Pastor Jim McGaffins church in Omaha, we also blessed him here and there. It wasnt until Pastor Bill Krause came and taught us about the true meaning of honor that we understood how important it is to honor our Pastor consistently. In November we began to honor our Pastor every time we received our pay check.
At the time of my evaluation at work, I remembered how everyone had told me it would be difficult to get a decent raise because the company didnt believe anyone could really work hard enough to deserve one. Well, I received the highest possible raise for someone in my position! Also, because the company did so well this year, a bonus plan was implemented and I also received the highest possible bonus.
I now see that this is all a result of our obeying God and honoring our man of God regularly. The company is continuing to do well and we are still getting increases by bonusing. Its also clear to see that God is blessing my company and all the employees as a result of my obedience. I expect even more between now and the next Financial Freedom Seminar because of what Ive learned.
